A Step Above Stairbuilders are genuine craftsman in creating beautiful, extremely well-built stairs. We have utilized the company 2 times for work in our home. Both times the work was timely, excellent, reasonable and pleasant. Bob is the consummate professional, we consider ourselves lucky to have found his company!

Bob came to my house for an estimation on my staircase. Bob was so great and explained all options for me. Bob told me how to fix my stairs issue without spending thousands of dollars. Bob could not have been nicer and took the time out of his day to explain everything to me which I truly appreciate.
A step above installed my railings 15 years ago. Recently the post got damaged, and they came quickly to repair the post no hassle. The repair looks great. Ingrid in the office was very helpful and quickly scheduled a service call. After 15 years still offer excellent service to their customers.
A step above stair builders have always delivered top quality products and workmanship. Taresh and his helper did a tremendous job this week on installing a total of 6 rail's. They were very meticulous and their attention to detail was amazing. Highly recommend. I highly recommend Bob and his crew. 1st class all the way!!! Great job guys
Taresh and Billy were fantastic. Their work was excellent. Both gentlemen were wonderful to work with and cleaned up beautifully when they were done. Real pleasure to work with.
We had AstepAbove replaced our old builder spec rails and spindles with wrought iron spindles and Oak rail.
The work was done masterful, the team of Taresh (A - Craftsman) and Mike (Assistant) were incredible. They were respectful, efficient and very clean. They used my garage for cutting and left it spotless. The floors were covered and no debris fell into my adjoining living room. Whenever there was an issue, they would stop and get my opinion before proceeding with the work.
I am a stickler for really good work, this was close to perfect. The precise measuring and cutting was just amazing. The stairs look magnificent. I highly recommend this team as I rarely receive craftsmanship as I received from AStepAbove. One more thing, Bob, the owner, is no nonsense, tells it like it is, does not disparage his competitors and it's not about selling you a job. He focuses on what you want and does it for a very reasonable price. Plus his mechanics are incredible.
Bob and his team are true professionals. The craftsmen were meticulous in their work and very personable, and I would highly recommend them if you are considering them for a job. I'm a very satisfied customer and very happy with the end result.
It was an overall excellent experience working with A Step Above Stairbuilders. The work that Taresh and his team did was top-notch and quite impressive. The most noteworthy aspects of the job were not only their craftsmanship, but their professionalism. Taresh took the time to explain every aspect of the job and was very courteous and well-spoken. What can I say other than Taresh and his team whom performed the installation of the railing and metal balusters are true craftsmen! Crafted on site, the handrail up the stairs as well as the railing around the 2nd level balcony came out beautiful. They were extremely professional, took care to ensure the house we recently built was not damaged and made sure to clean up the job upon departure. I would recommend A step above for anyone in need of their services. Finally, the pricing was extremely fair for the quality work they performed. Thanks again!
